Nordine Ghrib became the new head coach of the ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (France-ProA). After firing head coach Pierre Vincent, president and San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker announced Nordine Ghrib as the new coach. Ghrib led the team for a spell early in the 2010-11 campaign. Vincent had been at the helm of ASVEL since 2011. He guided the team to the French Pro A Semifinals in 2011 and 2013 and to the French Cup semifinals in 2013. Nordine Ghrib will take over the club that is 2-3 in Eurocup competition and is struggling in the French Pro A league with a 2-5 record.
