Nikola Lepojevic to play in Iran

Nikola Lepojevic (199 cm) is set to play for Hamyari Shahdari Zanjan from Iran’s Superleague. He played for Ural Ekaterinburg from Russia’s Superleague in 2011-12. He averaged 18.6 ppg and 4.1 rpg in 36 games. In 2012 his team made it to the Russian Cup Semifinals. The Serbian is bringing  post-season experience when he plays in Iran. Ural was both the Russian Superleague Regular Season Champion and was the Russian Superleague Champion.

Zanjan is currently fourth in the Iranian Superleague standings with a record of 10-8. The addition of Lepojevic is expected to bolster the team’s front court.
