Nijal Pearson headed to Lahti Basketball

Nijal Pearson (196 cm, G/F) started his rookie season in the ProA France. Straight out of college, Pearson signed with Roanne, played seven games, and averaged 6.3 ppg and 2.1 rebounds.

Pearson then was evaluated by the coaching staff and management and was found too light for the ProA. Pearson immediately found a new destination. The 23-year-old American is headed to Finland. He joins a Lahti team that is 7-8 in the Korissliiga and holds the 7th spot.

Nijal Pearson played college basketball last season at Texas State. He averaged an impressive 19.4 ppg and 5.4 rebounds. Pearson was chosen Sun Belt Player Of The Year.
