Neckar Riesen Ludwigsburg Terminates Two Contracts

Neckar Riesen Ludwigsburg, of the German BBL, has terminated contracts for two American players, Jerry Green (1.91m, College: Cal-Irvine) and Kurt Looby (2.08m, College: Iowa). The official word from the squad is that Green’s contract was terminated when his results from a fitness test were below expectations. Green has played 159 games for the club over the past five seasons. Looby was cut because he played in a summer league in Puerto Rico and didn’t get permission from the team to do so. He also fails to show up at training camp this week.
