NBA G League Regular Season Resumption Postponed

The G League announced that the resumption of its regular season, originally scheduled to tip-off on Dec. 27, will now begin on Jan. 5, 2022.

Over the past few weeks, countless G League players have been called up to the NBA to fill out depleted rosters from players being in health and safety protocols.

This delay will allow teams to safely return players to their respective G League markets after the holidays and allow time for their players that have been called up to make their way back down.

Rescheduled game date information will be announced at a later date once determined by the league.

To this point in the season, Saben Lee of the Motor City Cruise leads the G League with 30.6 points per contest. The Delaware Blue Coats recently won the Showcase Cup and are one of the hottest teams in the league.
