Australian big man Nathan Jawai (208 cm, Midland CC’07) is leaving Galatasaray Liv Hospital Istanbul (Turkey-Istanbul). He appeared in six Turkish Airlines Euroleague games for the club and averaged 3.5 ppg and 2.2 rpg. Nathan also logged nine games in the domestic Turkish league and there he averaged 3.2 ppg and 1.3 rpg. This was Jawai’s second season with Galatasaray. His 2013-14 season with them was cut short due to an injury in November 2013 which sidelined him for three months. Jawai was still able to play in two of their Euroleague games and averaged 11.0 ppg and 2.5 rpg. He also played in a couple of games in the domestic Turkish TBL and there he averaged 4.0 ppg and 2.0 rpg.
