Muli Katzurin leaves Fraport Skyliners

Muli Katzurin
Muli Katzurin has left as the head coach of the Fraport Skyliners of the German Bundesliga the team has officially announced. The announcement came just hours after the team picked up a vital win against Neckar Riesen Ludwigsburg. The 77-72 victory ensured that Fraport would not be relegated from the Beko BBL but Katzurin will not be with the team for next season as a new era will start at the Fraport Skyliners.

Muli Katzurin decided to step away from his job after a poor season. Despite the euphoria of last minute survival it has been a shaky season for the Skyliners and the team finished 14th with a dismal 14-20 record. The Israeli has been head coach of the Skyliners for two years and was on a two year contract with the club.

“I end my time in Frankfurt after two seasons. I want to thank everyone in the organization as well as my assistant coaches. I also thank the fans that supported us all season long. I wish the club all the best in the future”, said Muli Katzurin
