Mike Dunlap fired by the Bobcats

Mike Dunlap
Mike Dunlap has been released as the head coach of the Charlotte Bobcats in the National Basketball Association (USA, NBA). The franchise decided to fire Dunlap after a poor season where the team found positive results hard to come by. The Bobcats finished one from last in the Eastern Conference Southeast Division with a less than impressive 21-61 record.

When Mike Dunlap was appointed head coach of the Charlotte Bobcats last summer it was a risk for the franchise. After-all Dunlap had never been a head coach in the NBA before and had only ever spent one previous season in the NBA, as an assistant coach at the Denver Nuggets during the 2007-2008 season.
