Mike Cook to Thor Thorl

Mike Cook (193 cm, Pittsburgh’08) has been signed by Icelandic team Thor Thorl (Dominos League) as the clubs import player for this season. The guard was in action last season for Al Ahli Sports Club Doha (Qatar, D1) where he played in seven games and averaged well with 15.3 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. The American previously had a frustrating period in his career where injury hampered his progress throughout the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 seasons.

In fact, before the 2012/2013 campaign Mike Cook had not played significantly since the 2009/2010 season when he played for the Sheffield Sharks in the United Kingdom BBL. The 29-year old will not continue to get his career back on track with Thor Thorl.
