Miha Lapornik signs with Bilbao Basket

Miha Lapornik (194 cm) will be strengthening the roster of Spanish club Dominion Bilbao Basket (Spain-Liga Endesa) this 2016-17 season. Miha is a 31-year-old Slovenian player who has been a member of the Slovenian national team since 2014. He spent the last couple seasons on the roster of Union Olimpija Ljubljana (Slovenia-Telemach League), where he was also slated to continue his career this season prior to his agreeing to terms with Bilbao Basket.

In 2015-16 Lapornik played 15 games for his former team in the EuroCup and averaged 9.9 ppg and 1.5 rpg. He also played 26 games for them in the Adriatic League and there he was able to post averages of 12.1 ppg and 1.8 rpg. In 16 games in the domestic Slovenian league, Miha notched averages of 9.5 ppg and 2.1 rpg.
