Michal Michalak signs with Brescia

Michal Michalak (197 cm) is set to join Germani Basket Brescia (Italy-Serie A). Michalak makes the transfer to Italy from his home country of Poland. He has not played in any other country so far in his eight-year career. The 24-year-old played with PGE Turow (Poland-PLK) for 32 games earlier this season. The swingman was able to effectively score for the Polish team with 14.6 ppg on 38.8 percent shooting from three. He also contributed with 4.1 rpg and 2.0 apg in 27.0 mpg.

Now he heads to the Serie A to suit up for Brescia. Currently, they sit in eleventh in the standing with a 13-16 record. Michalak will bring his strong shooting from the perimeter to this Brescia team. However, he will need to adapt to the higher level of basketball.
