Michael Dixon now with Cluj Napoca

Michael Dixon (186 cm, G) has signed with U-Banca Transilvania Cluj Napoca. The 30-year old Georgian national team member played last season for Nymburk, where he played both in the national NBL and the Fiba Champions League. In CL play, Dixon averaged 13.3 ppg and 3.8 assists.

He started this season in Ukraine with Totebi in Georgia. He only played three games before making this move to Romania.

Dixon is a seasoned veteran and has played in Lithuania, Czech Republic, Greece, France, Turkey, and Italy. Last he played for the Georgian national team was 2019 when he was the second-leading scorer in the Fiba World Cup Qualifiers with 27 ppg.

Michael Dixon played college basketball at Memphis where he averaged 11.9 ppg and 2.3 assists his senior year.
