McCants fails physical, parts ways with SIG Strasbourg

Rashad McCants, who played in the NBA for the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Sacramento Kings for a total of five seasons, has failed his physical and has been released by SIG Strasbourg. McCants moved to the NBA’s D-League for 2010-11 season, then jumped to Puerto Rico in 2011-12. He started with Humacao, played six games averaging 18.0 points per game, then moved to Quebradillas for one game before heading East to play in the Philippines. He was picked up by SIG Strasbourg over the summer to complete their backcourt, which puts them back on the market for a guard.
