MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg (Germany-BBL) has agreed to terms with Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205 cm, Washington’11) for the 2014-15 season. Matthew has dual citizenship from both Ghana and the United Kingdom. He has also been a member of the British national team from 2009 to the present. In 2013-14 Bryan-Amaning started off at home with the London Lions (United Kingdom-BBL). He played just three games for the Lions and averaged 20.3 ppg and 8.0 rpg. In October 2013 Matthew moved to the Sharks Antibes (France-ProA) and there he produced averages of 10.9 ppg and 4.4 rpg in 24 games. In April he transferred to SO Maritime Boulogne (France-ProB). He played out three games, just in time to help Boulogne secure the Pro B title. During his brief run, he averaged 13.7 ppg and 6.0 rpg.
