Marvin Phillips opts for Charleville

Marvin Phillips (201 cm, Claflin’04) is making his return to French Basketball after deciding to continue his career with Etoile Charleville-Mezieres in the second tier ProB. The American has been hitting the wood with London Lightning (Canada, NBL) this season, his second stint with the franchise. So far this campaign Marvin Phillips has played 36 games and has been in form, adding 19.5 points and 10.2 rebounds to his career stats.

Those double-double numbers clearly piqued the interest of Charleville, but this is not the first time that the power forward has inked in France. He previously played for Rouen Basket during the 2013/2014 term and logged 12.9 points and 7.2 rebounds from seventeen contests.

Marvin Phillips is well-travelled and has also played in Mexico and Colombia.
