Marshon Brooks remains with Jiangsu

Former NBA guard Marshon Brooks (196 cm, Providence’11) has been retained by the Jiangsu Nangang Dragons Nanjing (China-CBA) for the 2016-17 season. Brooks had a very productive debut season for the Chinese club in 2015-16. In 36 games Marshon was able to post impressive averages of 35.0 ppg, 5.9 rpg, and 4.2 apg. He was not shy on the defensive end of the floor either, notching 2.3 steals per game.

In 2014-15 the Providence product saw action for EA7 Emporio Armani Milano (Italy-Serie A). He played 24 Euroleague games for them and averaged 12.8 ppg and 2.8 rpg. In 40 Italian league games Marshon delivered averages of 13.6 ppg and 3.3 rpg.
