Marqus Blakely released by Telekom

Marqus Blakely (196 cm, Vermont’10) has been released by Telekom Baskets Bonn (Germany-BBL) for failing his mandatory medical tests and has been sent home to the US. Blakely was signed to replace recently released Patrick Ewing, Jr., which means that the club will have to search for another player to replace Ewing. Blakely spent last season in D-League finishing the year in the Philippines with B-Meg Llamados with whom he averaged 22.4 points, 13.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. Blakely was also in training camp of the Los Angeles Clippers before the NBA season started.
