Marquis Weddle pens with Jeddah

Marquis WeddleMarquis Weddle (185 cm, West Virginia Wesleyan’11) is returning to the hardwood this season after penning a deal with Al Ahli Jeddah (Saudi Arabia, Premier League). The guard has been out of the sport since leaving NCAA 2 college team West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats back in 2011, so this will actually be his rookie pro campaign. The American finished his Bobcats career in style, finishing the campaign with 22.6 points per game. During the previous season he represented Tennessee Martin in the NCAA and played nineteen game to averages of 15.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game through the 2009/2010 season.

Scoring averages for Marquis Weddle were always solid through his time with Tennessee, where he spent 2007/2008 (17.1ppg from 33 games) and 2008/2009 (13.8ppg from 32 games).
