Marques Green signs with EA7 Emporio

Marques Green (165 cm, St. Bonaventure’04) has agreed to terms with EA7 Emporio Armani Milano (Italy-SerieA) for the remainder of the 2012-13 season, according to a press release on the club’s website. Green arrives from KK Cedevita Zagreb (Croatia-A1), where he played in 10 Euroleague regular season games and averaged 5.7 points and 3.4 assists per game, as well as 14 Adriatic League contests, averaging 6.9 points and 2.9 assists per game. In 2010-11 and 2011-12 he suited up for Sidigas Avellino (Italy-SerieA) and led the league in assists with 6.5apg, was second in steals with 2.5spg, and was fifth in scoring with 16.1ppg. Green spent four years at St. Bonaventure, finishing his NCAA eligibility in 2004, averaging 19.4 points, 5.2 assists and 4.0 steals per game over 27 games.
