Marko Spica is moving to Belgium

Marko Spica (205 cm, Central Michigan’10) is one of five players recently added by the Port of Antwerp Giants from Belgium’s Ethias league. The Giants are priming up their roster for the upcoming 2013-14 season and will be looking to the Serbian big man to bolster their front court.

Spica played the 2012-13 season in Hungary’s A Division for Kaposvari KK. He managed to log 42 games for Kaposvari and put up averages of 18.2 ppg and 6.7 rpg. In the 2011-12 season Marko played for KK Maribor Messer from Slovenia’s Telemach league. He played 27 games for them and posted averages of 9.6 ppg and 4.1 rpg.
