Marko Popovic deals with Tabriz

Marko Popovic (193 cm) is heading to Iran to pick up his 2016/2016 season wearing the colours of Shahrdary Tabriz in the Superleague. The guard has not played so far this campaign, so this will be his first station of the term. During the 2015/2016 season, Marko Popovic featured for MKS Start Lublin in the Polish top flight TBL.

While in Lublin, the Bosnian player took to the hardwood in sixteen games and brought in numbers of 7.5 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.

Popovic is a 33-year old veteran with plenty of experience. He has played in Serbia, Spain, and Greece since turning pro in 2004.
