Marko Banic (205 cm) has agreed to terms on a deal to play for Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir (Turkey-BSL) and will be joining the team this season. This will be the first signing for Banic this 2017-18. He is a 33-year-old Croatian player who played for the Croatian National Team from 2004 to 2010. Banic lent his talents to Unics Kazan (Russia-VTB) in 2016-17 and played for them in two leagues. He played 24 games for them in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague where he averaged 4.6 ppg and 1.7 rpg. In 19 VTB United League games, the veteran big man recorded averages of 4.6 ppg and 1.9 rpg.
