Markel Brown added by Darussafaka

 Markel Brown (191 cm, Oklahoma State’14) is set to return to Europe this 2018-19 season after inking a deal with Darussafaka Istanbul (Turkey-BSL). He stayed stateside in 2017-18, spending most of the season in the NBA G-League.

He was released by the Oklahoma City Thunder and moved to Oklahoma City Blue (NBA G-League). Brown played 22 games for them and averaged 17.4 ppg and 4.4 rpg. He also played nine games for the Rio Grande Vipers and posted averages of 15.9 ppg and 5.0 rpg. Brown was able to play four games for the Houston Rockets and average 1.3 ppg and 1.3 rpg.
