Mardy Collins heads to Lokomotiv

Lokomotiv Kuban (Russia-VTB) has landed the services of veteran guard Mardy Collins (198 cm, Temple’06) this 2016. He brings some veteran leadership to the Russian club’s backcourt for the remainder of the season. Mardy is moving to Loko from Strasbourg IG (France-Pro A). He played 10 games for Strasbourg in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague where he averaged 7.6 ppg and 2.5 apg. In his lone game for them in the Eurocup, Collins scored 21 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and handed out four assists. He also logged 14 games in the domestic French league and there he managed averages of 7.8 ppg and 3.3 apg.
