Marcus Williams secures move to Cholet

Marcus Williams (191 cm, Oak Hill Academy’03) has signed for Cholet Basket in the French ProA for this 2016/2017 season. The American was recently let go by KK Buducnost Voli Podgorica (Montenegro-Erste Liga). While with the Adriatic League outfit, Marcus Williams played 27 ABA League games and brought in averages of 10.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game.

The guard also played seven games in the 7DAYS EuroCup and logged numbers of 12.3 points and 5.1 boards per appearance. Williams has NBA experience and has played for the New jersey Nets and the Golden State Warriors. He also has experience in the Russian top flight.
