Marcus Moore released by Elizur Ashkelon

Marcus Moore (198 cm, Washington State’04) has been released by Elizur Ashkelon from Israel’s Winner League. Moore played 18 games for them before his departure and in those games was able to average 15.2 ppg and 4.1 rpg. In the Israeli League, Ashkelon is only allowed to play with four foreign players on its roster. Unfortunately for Moore, it was decided by the team and by Coach Ariel Beit-Halamy that he would not be one of the players retained.

He had a successful 2011-12 playing in Cyprus for Keravnos Strovolou (Division A). Moore played five games for the team in the EuroChallenge and averaged 14.4 ppg and 5.2 rpg. He also managed to play 14 games for Keravnos in the Cyprus League and there average 12.6 ppg. In 2012 Keravnos was the Cyprus League Regular Season Champion, a Cyprus League Finalist, and finally also the Cyprus Cup Winner.
