Marcel Jones now with Canterbury Rams

Marcel Jones (203 cm, Oregon State’08) has signed with the Canterbury Rams from New Zealand’s NBL. Jones is an American player who also holds a New Zealand passport. He left Pallacanestro Cantu from Italy’s Serie A. The 25-year-old American player also holds a New Zealand passport. Marcel is reportedly headed back to New Zealand. Jones joined Cantu to start the 2013-14 season and he managed to play 16 games in the Eurocup for the team. He was able to average 6.3 ppg and 3.3 rpg. Jones also logged a total of 25 games in the Italian Serie A for Cantu and there he produced averages of 3.4 ppg and 1.4 rpg.
