Nift Al-Janoub from Iraq’s Superleague is strengthening its backcourt this 2015, bringing in Marcel Anderson (183 cm, Harris-Stowe State’10). This will be the 28-year-old’s first time to play in Asia. Anderson is coming from the NBA D-League, where he played for two teams in 2013/14. He started off with the Maine Red Claws and was able to play 23 games and posted averages of 6.7 ppg and 3.5 apg. He left in March 2014 and signed with the Eerie Bay Hawks. Marcel appeared in eight games for the Hawks and recorded averages of 7.1 ppg and 3.4 apg.
