Manuchar Markoishvili joins Darussafaka

Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul (Turkey-TBL) has landed veteran player Manuchar Markoishvili (196 cm) for the 2015/16 season. Manuchar is a 28-year-old Georgian player who has been part of the Georgian national team from 2004 to 2007 and again from 2010 up to the present. He spent the 2014/15 season playing for Russian powerhouse, CSKA Moscow (VTB). He appeared in 18 Euroleague games and averaged 3.6 ppg and 1.2 rpg. Manuchar also played 24 games in the VTB United League and there he posted averages of 7.4 ppg and 2.3 rpg.
