Malcolm Armstead begins career with Krka

Malcolm Armstead (183 cm, Wichita State’13) is set to begin his professional career in Slovenia’s Telemach league, signing with Krka Novo Mesto for 2013-14.

In the 24-year-old Alabama native’s senior year at Wichita State he averaged 10.6 ppg and 4.0 apg in 39 games. He helped his team reach the NCAA Final Four and the MVC Tournament Finals in 2013.

Armstead was named to the MVC All-Tournament Team and the MVC All-Newcomer Team, while receiving an All-MVC Honorable Mention in 2013. He missed the 2011-12 season after transferring from Oregon.
