Maksim Kovacevic lands with Gaz Metan

CS Gaz Metan Medias from Romania’s Liga Nationala has agreed to terms with Serbian player Maksim Kovacevic (196 cm) for the rest of the season. In his first game for Gaz Metan, Maksim was able to score just two points and grabbed four rebounds in 13 minutes of action. In 2013/14 the 27-year-old Kovacevic played the preseason for Kryvbasbasket-Lux Kryvyi Rih from Ukraine’s Superleague. The player eventually signed with Polish club Asseco Gdynia (TBL) and there he managed to play 11 games and average 4.1 ppg and 1.9 rpg, before being released by the team in January 2014.
