Maksim Kovacevic inks for Gdynia

Maksim Kovacevic (199 cm) has been tabbed by Polish giants Asseco Gdynia (TBL) and will play for the struggling club over the 2013/2014 campaign. The swingman recently signed for Kryvbasbasket-Lux Kryvyi (Ukraine, Superleague) but his stint with the team ended after just one month. Last season the Serbian player represented St. Polten in the Austrian A.Bundesliga and over 22 games impressed with numbers of 17.3 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.

Maksim Kovacevic missed much of the 2011/2012 season due to injury, but he did manage to play five games for BC Vienna (Austria, A-Bundesliga). Over those limited appearances the 26-year old averaged 15.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.
