Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd (Russia-VTB) has agreed to terms on a deal with Ukrainian player Maks Adam Konate (200 cm) this 2015.  Konate will be expected to strengthen the team’s frontcourt rotation. This is an upgrade in competition for the 24-year-old forward. He began this 2015-16 season playing in the Russian Superleague for PSK Sakhalin Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. He played eight games for his former team before his departure. Konate almost averaged a double-double with 9.1 ppg and 9.9 rpg.

In 2014-15 Maks logged 27 games for Ferro-ZNTU Zaporozhyze (Ukraine-Superleague). He was a dominant force with averages of 19.5 ppg and 9.4 rpg.
