Crvena Zvezda Telekom Beograd (Serbia-KLS) has re-signed Maik Zirbes (208 cm) to a one-year deal, keeping him with the club for the 2015/16 season. Maik is a 25-year-old German player who has been a member of the German national team in 2009, 2012-13, and 2015. Crvena Zvezda had a fantastic 2014/15 season and Zirbes was a part of that success. He played 32 games for them in the Adriatic league and averaged 8.8 ppg and 4.3 rpg. The club dominated the league and went on to win the championship in 2015. Maik also played 24 games for them in the Euroleague and there he posted averages of 5.2 ppg and 3.3 rpg. Lastly, he logged 16 games in the Serbian KLS where produced averages of 9.9 ppg and 4.3 rpg.
