Former NBA guard Maalik Wayns (185 cm, Villanova’12) has put pen to paper on a fresh deal with Enisey Krasnoyarsk (Russia-VTB) and will join the team this 2016-17. The 25-year-old Wayns is coming over after spending his 2015-16 on the roster of Openjobmetis Varese (Italy-Serie A). He played 16 games for them in the debut season of the FIBA Europe Cup and was able to record averages of 13.9 ppg and 3.4 apg. The player also logged a total of 25 games in the Italian league and was able to deliver averages of 10.8 ppg and 2.6 apg. This will be his first time to play for a Russian club.
