Luke Harangody inks with Unics Kazan

Former NBA forward Luke Harangody (201 cm, Notre Dame’10) will test his game in Russia for Unics Kazan this 2013-14. He was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the second round (52nd) of the 2010 NBA draft.

In 2012-13 the Notre Dame grad signed with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (D-League) in December 2012, after being released by the Cleveland Cavaliers in November 2012. Luke logged 17 games in the D-League for the Mad Ants and averaged 19.9 ppg and 11.8 rpg.

In 2011-12 he shuffled back and forth multiple times between playing for the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers and the D-League’s Canton Charge. In 19 games for the Charge he averaged 18.9 ppg and 11.7 rpg, while averaging 2.9 ppg and 2.5 rpg in 21 games for the Cavs.
