Luis Guil is headed back home to Spain as the new head coach of Tecnyconta Zaragoza (Spain-Liga Endesa) this 2017. He comes in to replace Andreu Casadevall. In the last three seasons, the 45-year-old Guil has been at the helm of Bucaneros de La Guaira of Venezuela’s LPB. He successfully guided the team to an LPB league finals appearance in 2016. Luis was also tasked to be one of the coaches in the LPB All-Star game that year. It has been some time, but Guil has had experience with the Spanish ACB, having coached UCAM Murcia from 2010 to 2012.
