Lucas Tischer joins Penarol

Lucas Tischer (208 cm) has signed with Penarol Mar del Plata (Argentina-LigaA) for the rest of the season. Tischer joined with UniCEUB/BRB/Brasilia (Brazil-NBB) at the beginning of the 2010-11 season, averaging 8.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game over 32 Brazilian NBB games in 2010-11 and then 8.2 points and 5.0 rebounds over 32 games in 2011-12. Tischer started the season with UniCEUB, but left after only three games. He was a member of the Brazilian National Team in 2006. Tischer had signed a two-year deal with the Phoenix Suns in 2005, but was released before the season started.
