Lorenzo Brown landed by Unics

Lorenzo Brown Lorenzo Brown (196 cm, North Carolina State’13) is taking his game back to Europe after agreeing to terms on a deal with Unics Kazan (Russia-VTB) this 2016.  Brown was on the training camp roster of the Detroit Pistons in the pre-season, but unfortunately did not make the final cut. He was released by the Minnesota Timberwolves in October 2015. A month later Lorenzo inked a deal with the Grand Rapids Drive of the NBA D-League. He played a total of 25 games for Grand Rapids and averaged 18.3 ppg and 5.5 rpg. He also had a brief stint with the Phoenix Suns in the middle of the season and in eight games posted averages of 2.5 ppg and 0.9 rpg. In March 2016 he landed with the Detroit Pistons, but left shortly.
