U.M.F. Grindavik from Iceland’s Dominos League has agreed to terms with former Austin Toros draft pick Lewis Clinch (191 cm, Georgia Tech’09). Clinch is an American player who also holds a passport from the Dominican Republic. In 2013 he was with Bameso from the Dominican Republic’s District National, while in 2012 he was a member of Caneros de La Romana (Dominican Republic-LNB).
In 2011-12 he played for Hapoel Lev Hasharon from Israel’s National League and averaged 22.7 ppg and 4.9 rpg in 18 games. He left the team in February 2012. The next month Lewis signed with Caciques de Humacao from Puerto Rico’s BSN and there he logged just seven games before departing, but posted averages of 12.9 ppg while dishing out 3.9 apg through seven games.
