BC Zalgiris Kaunas (Lithuania-LKL) has decided to bolster its roster this post-season with the addition of Leo Westermann (196 cm). He is a French player who has been a member of the French national team in 2013 and 2015. Zalgiris is currently vying for the Lithuanian LKL championship and would get a boost from the addition of Westermann. Leo spent most of the 2015-16 season playing at home for Limoges CSP Elite (France-Pro A). He played 10 games for them in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and averaged 10.1 ppg and 4.3 apg. He also played eight games in the Eurocup and there he registered averages of 8.4 ppg and 4.1 apg. Lastly, Westermann also logged 33 games in the domestic French league and there he averaged 9.6 ppg and 4.6 apg.
