LeBron James to fire agent, hire friend Rich Paul

lebron jamesLebron James is set to fire his second agent during his career and will be handing over his affairs to his childhood friend and business parter, Rich Paul. The two, along with friends Maverick Carter and Randy Mihms formed a marketing agency that they call LRMR (first letters of each name) when they fired James’ first agent, Aaron Goodwin, in 2005. At the time, he was criticized for handing over his marketing duties to Carter, who was 24 at the time. With Paul taking over as James’ agent, he will form a new company called “Klutch Sports Group.”
In his nine-year career James has earned $92 million in salary and has a new deal with $109 million over six years that was inked in 2010, that deal includes options for the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.
James is currently ranked number 2 in endorsements behind Kobe Bryant, amassing $33 million in deals per year. His endorsements include Nike, Sprite, State Farm Insurance, and McDonalds.

If so… Representing super stars like LeBron is most probably the most easiest thing to do anyway… It’s all about exposure!
