Lawrence Wright returns to Finland

Lawrence Wright (194 cm, Bradley’06) has been tabbed by Kouvot Kouvola (Finland, Korisliiga) to join the roster for the 2013/2014 season. The American forward played 9 games with Basket Esch (Luxembourg, Diekirch League) this season where he averaged impressively with 22.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.1 assists.

Fans of Finnish Basketball will be familiar with Lawrence Wright after he played with UU-Korihait Uusikaupunki in the 2011/2012 Korisliiga season. During that campaign the 28-year old played 53 games and averaged 17.7ppg, 7.3rpg, and 1.8apg.

The American is well travelled having also spent time in France, Canada, Egypt, and Bosnia since graduating from Bradley in 2006.
