Lawrence Westbrook signs with Riesen

American guard Lawrence Westbrook (183 cm, Minnesota’10) has penned a contract with Neckar Riesen Ludwigsburg (Germany BBL), becoming the second player signed by the German team today. In a busy day for Riesen, Westbrook will join fellow American Eric Coleman as a new addition to the roster.

Lawrence Westbrook is a 24-year old who is coming to Riesen from Hapoel Kazrin (Israel, National League). He played for Kazrin 14 times since joining at the start of the 2012-2013 season, and in those 14 games Westbrook has managed 21.1ppg, 3.6rpg, and 3.6apg. Before his move to Israel, Westbrook was a regular in the D-League in the USA, playing for the Maine Red Claws, Dakota Wizards (2010-2011) and the Texas Legends (2011-2012).
