Lasha Parghalava joins Esteghlal Qeshm

Georgian player Lasha Parghalava (191 cm, Montana State-Billin’10) is headed to Asia to play in Iran’s Superleague for Esteghlal Qeshm. Lasha is a former member of the Georgian National Team in 2011. He was initially with Olimpi Tbilisi (Georgia-Superleague), before deciding to test the waters in Iran.

After he graduated, Lasha spent his pro career developing his skills at home in Georgia. In 2012-13 he played for BC Armia Tbilisi (Georgia-Superleague). He represented Armia in six EuroChallenge games and averaged 7.8 ppg and 2.2 rpg. In 26 games in the Georgian league Lasha hit averages of 11.1 ppg and 3.6 rpg.
