LaRon Dendy heading to Hapoel Tel-Aviv

LaRon Dendy

LaRon Dendy (205 cm, Middle Tennessee St. ’12) inked a deal with Hapoel Tel-Aviv (Israel-Winner League). Dendy joins the Israeli team for the end of the Winner League season. There are just five games remaining on the schedule. Dendy will need to make his presence felt quickly if he wants to remain with this team into the future. Currently, Hapoel Tel-Aviv is ninth in the standings with a 13-15 record.

Dendy will bring another scoring big man to his new team’s roster. The American big man scored 14.4 ppg while grabbing 8.7 rpg earlier this season with Duzce Belediye (Turkey-TBL). Dendy appeared in 34 games while playing 30.2 mpg. His success in the TBL earned him a spot on the Hapoel Tel-Aviv roster and could catapult him into higher competition for the rest of his career.
