Kyle Collinsworth (198 cm, G/F) will try his luck overseas and make his international debut in Japan. He is getting ready to play for the SeaHorses Mikawa in the Japanese B1 League. After graduating from Brigham Young in 2016 with 15.3 ppg, 7.9 rpg, and 7.4 aspg he had hoped to be drafted. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Nevertheless, Kyle Collinsworth was invited to the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament and played in the NBA Summer League for the Dallas Mavericks but that didn’t earn him a spot on an NBA roster. In the following years, Collinsworth bounced around several G League teams and kept trying to get an NBA contract through various NBA Summer league teams and training camps. Now, Kyle Collinsworth (All-WCC Player of the Year in 2016) has decided that getting paid overseas is more lucrative than chasing the NBA fata morgana.
