2016 Greek A1 champs Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus are strengthening their roster of the 2016-17 season with the addition of Khem Birch (208 cm, UNLV’14). Birch is a 23-year-old Canadian player who spent his 2015-16 season playing for Usak Sportlif (Turkey-BSL). He played 32 games for Usak and delivered averages of 10.5 ppg and 9.1 rpg. Khem signed with the Sioux Falls Skyforce (USA-D-League) after being released by the Miami Heat during his rookie season (2014/15). In 52 D-League games Birch was able to post averages of 11.1 ppg and 9.5 rpg. He helped the Skyforce win the Central Division championship and was also named to the D-League All-Star game in 2015.

In his senior year at UNLV Khem averaged 11.5 ppg and 10.2 rpg through 33 games.
