Khalid El-Amin added by Goettingen

Khalid El-Amin (178 cm, Connecticut’00) will get an opportunity to revitalize his professional career this 2014-15 season with BG Goettingen (Germany-BBL). Kahlid had a disastrous 2013-14 season after rupturing his Achilles tendon in the pre-season, sidelining him for six months. He was slated to play for Trabzonspor Basketbol (Turkey-TBL). He joined the team in the tail end of 2012-13 and played 17 games for them, averaging 17.1 ppg and 4.7 apg.

Khalid moved to the Turkish club after beginning that season on the roster of Le Mans Sarthe Basket (France-ProA) and there he was able to play in three leagues. In six Eurocup games he averaged 12.2 ppg and 5.0 apg. He played three games for them in the Euroleague and posted averages of 10.7 ppg and 3.7 apg. In the French Pro A league he was able to deliver averages of 9.3 ppg and 3.8 apg.
