Keathley to coach Ottawa Skyhawks

Ottawa’s newest basketball franchise, the Skyhawks are ready to make their debut this November. After recently changing their name from “Tomahawks,” the Skyhawks now have hired their Head Coach, Kevin Keathley. Skyhawks’ owner Gus Takkale signed Keathley to a one-year contract. Keathley has coached various teams in US’ ABA and CBA.

Keathley is coming off a head coaching job for the Sauk Valley Predators (IBA-PBL) in 2012, where he steered the team to the PBL Semifinals and also as the PBL Central Division’s Runners-up. He joined the Predators in November 2011, after leaving an assistant coaching job with the NBA D-League’s Bakersfield Jam.
